Here's what Starter and Pro cost, what each includes, and how the free trial works.
1. Prices
Starter | Pro | |
Monthly | $49 a month | $79 a month |
Annual | $468 a year (works out to $39 a month) | $756 a year (works out to $63 a month) |
Events running at the same time | 2 | 4 |
Annual billing saves about 20%. Tax is added where it applies, based on your card's ZIP code.
These are founding prices: you keep yours while you stay on the same plan and billing period (monthly or annual). Switching either one moves you to that day's prices.
2. What both plans include
Unlimited events and unlimited connected devices (PCs and iPads)
iPad Sharing Station, Web Sharing Station, offline sharing mode and booth printing
Guests get their photos by email, text, QR code and public web galleries
Client Gallery, ready-made gallery looks and default email templates
Galleries kept for 2 years after the event ends (see How long are galleries kept, and how to download or delete photos)
AI photo effects (AI credits are bought separately; see How AI credits work and how to estimate what an event will cost)
Guest texts under fair use: up to 2,500 a month on Starter and 4,000 a month on Pro. Guest texts are never stopped during an event.
Email support on Starter, priority support on Pro
3. What Pro adds
4 events at the same time instead of 2
Station branding and attract screens
Password-protected galleries
Your own gallery address and Gallery Hub
TV slideshow for the venue
My Photos page for each guest
Custom email templates (drag-and-drop editor) and custom gallery templates
Data capture and consent, with default and custom consent templates
Analytics dashboard, event reports and CSV exports
Need more than 4 events at once? Extra events are a Pro add-on at $29 a month each: click Email Us when you reach the limit.
4. What counts as an "active event"?
An event is active while it's published and inside its scheduled window, from its start to its end date and time. Drafts, archived events and ended events don't count, so you can schedule as many future events as you like. A slot frees up when the event ends, or right away when you Archive it.
Your dashboard's Active Events card shows how many are running right now. If publishing would take you over your limit, you'll see Active event limit reached, and the event stays saved as a draft.
5. The free trial
14 days of Pro, no credit card, with Pro's limit of 4 events at once.
A TRIAL mark shows on photos and videos in the gallery and the sharing station until your plan starts. Your originals stay clean, and the mark comes off galleries and links when your plan starts. Copies guests already downloaded or saved keep it.
AI credits aren't included. Even a test shot needs a credit pack.
Want the mark off sooner? Add a payment method and click Start my plan now on the Billing tab. Your plan starts that day.
6. When the trial ends
Payment method on file: your plan starts on the date in the Trial Period banner and the first payment is taken. That's Pro monthly, unless you choose Starter or annual in Manage Billing before the trial ends.
No payment method: your subscription stops and we email you. Galleries stay online for guests, but your PixoShare PC and iPads stop uploading and sharing until you pick a plan on the Billing tab.
7. Change or cancel your plan
Change or cancel any time in Settings → Billing → Manage Billing.
Upgrades start right away, and you pay the difference for the rest of your billing period.
Downgrades start at the end of your current billing period.
If you cancel, you keep access until the end of the period you've paid for.
Good to know
Back-to-back events are fine: an event that starts exactly when another ends doesn't overlap it.
Dates can't be changed after publishing. To move an event, duplicate it with the new dates.
An event window can be up to 60 days long.
