Open your event's Sharing Station Link in a web browser on a laptop, a touchscreen PC or any tablet, and guests can send themselves their photos by text, email or QR code. It's on every plan, with nothing to install or pair.
Open the station
Publish the event.
In the dashboard, open the event. The Sharing Station Link is the first row of the Event Links card on the Overview tab (and on the Sharing tab).
On the station device, open it with Open in a New Tab, or use Copy Link or QR Code to get it there. You can open it on several devices at once.
Keep the link to yourself
Anyone with the Sharing Station Link can open the station, browse every photo from the event and send photos, even with the Live Gallery off. Open it only on your own devices, and don't post it on a sign or online. For a link guests may pass around, use the Live Gallery (see Live Gallery: let guests browse the whole event).
How guests use it
1. Guests tap the photos they want, up to 50 per send.
2. They tap Text (a 10-digit number on the Text Me keypad; the country code is fixed at +1), Email (an address under Email Me), or QR Code (they scan it with their phone camera; it stays up for 60 seconds).
With Guest Data Collection on (Pro), guests see your consent text before each text or email. After 60 seconds without a touch, the selection clears for the next guest, and your attract screen plays if you set one (Pro).
The buttons follow the event's Sharing Methods on the Branding step. On Pro, the station uses the same Station Logo, background, colors and attract screen as the iPad. On Starter, it shows the PixoShare look.
What's different from the iPad app
No AirDrop.
No Print button. If your PC runs the event with Auto print on, the PC still prints every photo (see Printing: set up your printer, and print with more than one, section 8).
It needs internet the whole time. Any Wi-Fi with internet works, even one your PC isn't on. New photos show once uploaded (it checks every 20 seconds).
No exit PIN. It's a web page, so lock the device instead.
On an iPad, use the PixoShare - Sharing Station app if you can: it adds AirDrop, the guests' Print button (with a PixoShare PC) and an exit PIN. Guided Access can keep the iPad in Safari, but it doesn't by itself lock Safari to one web address, so test your browser setup and its navigation controls before leaving the station unattended.
Good to know
Sending works from the event's start time until an hour after it ends. Then the station shows This event has ended, and links guests already received keep working. An archived event's station link stops opening.
Keep the device plugged in and set it not to sleep. For full screen, click the small button in the top-right corner (not available in Safari on an iPad).
Photos slow to appear? Check the PC's Upload queue (see Photos not showing up? Check these things in order).
"Sharing is having trouble — try again in a moment" means the device lost the internet, or PixoShare couldn't be reached. Ask the guest to try again.
