Check whether the email went out, help the guest find it, and share another way if it's stuck.
Guest waiting right now? Have them check spam, or pick their photos again and tap Text, QR Code or AirDrop. See How guests get their photos: text, email, QR code and AirDrop.
Check whether it went out
In your dashboard, open the event and click the Messages tab.
Under Email Message Status, check the guest's badge:
Delivered: the guest's email provider accepted it. It can still have landed in spam or another folder.
Pending: on its way; delivery isn't confirmed yet.
Failed: it bounced or was refused. An Error line gives the reason when we have one.
On your PixoShare PC, the Sharing queue card shows emails still waiting there. Click the retry arrow on a failed row, or Retry failed (N) to retry them all.
It's in spam, junk or another tab
Ask the guest to look in spam, junk and tabs like Promotions or Updates, or to search for your event's From Name or [email protected]. Work and school email systems sometimes block outside mail, so a personal address works better.
To make your emails easy to spot, open the event's Sharing step, Email tab. Set a From Name guests will recognize (your company or the event's name) and a Reply-To Address, so a guest who replies reaches you.
The address was typed wrong
The iPad only checks that the address looks like [email protected], so a typo such as "gmial.com" goes through and the email bounces (Failed) or reaches someone else's inbox. The iPad shows the address under Sent!: ask guests to check it, and send again if it's wrong.
The address was blocked after an earlier problem
If an earlier PixoShare email to that address bounced or was marked as spam, later ones can be blocked (Failed). Use Text or QR Code for that guest.
The internet dropped at the event
PixoShare PC connection: the guest sees Queued. Leave PixoShare open on the PC; it sends the email by itself once the internet is back.
PixoShare Cloud connection: the guest sees Couldn't connect — try again in a moment and sends again once the iPad is online.
Offline mode on the PC: Text and Email don't show.
The guest doesn't see an Email button
Edit the event, open the Branding step and make sure Email is on under Sharing Methods.
Good to know
Each email has a button that opens the guest's photos. The photos aren't attached.
With Guest Data Collection on (Pro), guests see your consent text before the email form. A guest who taps No thanks doesn't get an email. See Guest contact details, consent and exports.
